For over 50 years, the Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago produced oversized cards which were sold in penny arcade vending machines. The cards, which always measured 3 3/8 inches by 5 3/8 inches, featured black and white or tinted photos on the front and usually had cream colored blank backs. Many of the earlier issues had post card backs and during there last few years of operation they switched to a bright white stock. They covered many subjects from sports figures, movie and radio stars, band leaders etc. to sports cars, airplanes and astronauts. The designs changed over the years, but they were generally simple: no border, and the subject's name. Sometimes it was type set, other times it was in script. These cards are far less expensive generally than other cards produced at the same time, in part because of a lack of awareness on the part of collectors . I have always loved these cards and have a large collection which I am selling .
All cards are guaranteed original and unrestored and are the ones that appear in the scan. I check each very carefully before assigning a grade. I seldom miss a problem but if I did I will refund your price including any shipping cost.
