    THIS SET OF EIGHT UNITED KINGDOM COINS IS TRULY HISTORIC.  SOME OF THESE COINS ARE THE  LAST EXAMPLE "
    of a coinage whose development can be traced back over more than twelve hundred years".
    THE
    OLDEST WAS THE PENNY WHICH WAS INTRODUCED IN THE EIGHTH CENTURY.  IT WAS DEMONETIZED IN 1971.  THE INCLUDED SIX PAGE BROCHURE CONTAINS BRIEF HISTORIES OF EACH OF THE EIGHT COINS IN THIS SET.
    The coins in this set were struck with special dies and blanks.  They should not be removed from the sealed plastic  case as they will tarnish easily.
    THIS SET WAS PURCHASED BY ME DIRECTLY FROM THE ORIGINAL PRODUCER AND KEPT IN A CLEAN, SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT.
