This is a 1991 UK Proof set housed in a clear lucite case inside a hard outer case and includes the coin specifications on the back of the insert.
A Special Message from the Bank of England states that "no 10 or 50 Pence coins were minted for circulation in 1991".
This set was specially minted to sell to collectors.
The obverse features the portrait of Her Majesty The Queen.
The Royal Mint did not mint any 10 or 50 Pence coins for circulation in 1991. The only way to get a 1991 dated 10 or 50 Pence coin is in a Proof set or an uncirculated set.
