    Antique Octagonal Tea Caddy with Lid--2 Painted Scenes, with Maker's Mark
    Although this caddy was made in Japan, judging by the maker's mark on the base, it has
    typical Chinese motifs, and the outdoor scene of the 3 gentlemen appears to show
    them engaging in a game or some kind. Also, the abstract iconography and foo dog (or foo lion)
    that tops the lid is typical Chinese.
    It measures approx. 5 inches tall with the lid on and is approx 2 3/4 inches at its widest.
    It appears to be hand painted.
