Farabee spent one season with Boston University after being drafted and was named to NCAA Hockey East All-Rookie Team, earned NCAA Hockey East Rookie of the Year and the NCAA Top Collegiate Rookie award. He also helped Team USA win a silver medal at the 2019 World Junior Championships. Farabee has collected over 100 NHL points so far throughout his young career.
