Huberdeau was drafted third overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers and has developed into one of the league’s elite playmakers.
He won a Memorial Cup in 2011 while with the Saint John Sea Dogs and was named to the Memorial Cup All-Star Team.
He spent the first 10 years of his NHL career with the Panthers before being traded to the Flames this past offseason.
He currently holds Panthers franchise records for games played, assists, and points. In 2013 he was named to the NHL’s All-Rookie Team and won the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s Rookie of the Year.
Huberdeau has made the NHL’s Second-All Star team on two occasions as has twice been selected to play in the NHL All-Star game. Last season he set a career best and Panther’s franchise record for most points in a season with 115.
