Here's what I'm pretty sure happened:
In the mid-1990s, someone was working way too hard for toxic, scumbag attorneys who wouldn't get out of bed for less than 0 an hour. They treated their support staff little better than servants - actually, probably not as well as servants in addition to the unnecessary drama, trauma and misdirected rage. So in sorting through the incoming mail, someone happened upon this little trifle - and a similar item this person hasn't been able to find on any resale site. And liberated it from getting into the hands of its intended audience, who likely would have no moral quandary paying three to four times as much for a vehicle as the annual salary of some poor secretary or assistant.
The hardcover brochure is bound in purple (pictures 4-5) with a purple slipcase (pictures 2-3) showing some shelf-wear, beautifully photographed with specifications at the back. The text is clean and unmarked, and there's a separate written invitation with "750il" printed on it that has some considerable foxing on the outside.
This isn't even the most interesting item that I stole from that office - nothing of any monetary value, of course.
Downsizing a large library. Non-smoking home with a cat in residence. All books are sent in protective packaging.
