GREAT BRITAIN 1970 8 PC PROOF SET IN ORIGINAL ROYAL MINT PACKAGING (KM# PS26)

Description

This offering is for a 1970 British proof set. This last pound coinage set consists of eight really nice looking pieces ranging from the half Penny to the half Crown along with a rectangular shaped bronze Royal Mint medal. Set comes housed in the original government issued plastic case and maroon cardboard sleeve. Included with the set is a flyer with the history of this coinage. There’s the typical mottled red toning on the surfaces of both bronze coins. This makes for a nice remembrance of Queen Elizabeth II – marking her death and 70 years of reign. Other particulars are: KM Catalog# PS26; mintage of 750,000.
