The base material is bamboo. Thin constant width bamboo boards are woven in a matrix pattern and made into a round box shape.
On the bamboo basement, coating Urushi lacquer many.. many times by taking long times. After drying, decorate Spring flowers makie on.
You will find the elaborate workmanship.

This is a Japanese Traditional lacquer tea caddy Spring field makie Kago(籠 means Bamboo basket style) Natsume Container.
This is an Unused and a Very Unique Long style (4.52 inched in height).
*personally, recommend for tea leaves container.
This is in an Excellent / Unused condition with signed wooden box.
This piece of measures: 3.188 inched (8.1 cm) in diameter.  4.527 inched (11.5 cm) in height.
The base material is Bamboo, Lid is Wood.
