Description:
This is a Japanese Bizen ware sake server (Tokkuri):
- to enjoy Japanese sake in either warmed or chilled (photo. #2).
- or use as a small flower vase (Ichirin-zashi) (photo. #3).
In either way, you can enjoy the feeling of "wabi and sabi" from this Tokkuri
It was made by famous potter artist in Bizen, SUZUKI Katsushi (鈴木　勝詞).
He was born in 1949, learned pottery from his father and started to produce his own in 1972.
His name is engraved on the Tokkuri (Photo. #11). He signed and sealed on the box as well.
It is not used and kept in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or scratches.
