This is a first quality O-NATSUM
- made by a top notch Makie artist Rantei Umeda (梅田蘭亭)
- using only best quality materials such as gold.
The result is so stunning.
The design or theme of this Natsume is 'Fuku-Zukushi' (福尽くし in Japanese) meaning 'Auspicious',
which is written on the box (Photo. #2).
The 7 items (e.g. red snapper, magic mallet, lute, etc.) are painted with Makie technique on the Natsume,
which are believed to bring prosperity and good luck to people. It is why
this design is 'Auspicious'.
It is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks at all.
White (shining) parts on photographs are reflection of light, i.e. no flaw or blemish at all .
