Telecaster compatible body- CURLY MAPLE TOP ON ALDER - CHAMBERED

Description

This is a BEAUTIFUL CURLY MAPLE AND ALDER Telecaster compatible body.  CURLY maple drop TOP with chambered alder BACK section making it a very lightweight body.  Routed for STANDARD vintage single-coil pickups.  This body will look spectacular with or without stain and a clear coat finish.
It was accurately made in the USA to vintage specifications and is 1 3/4" thick. This body has its edges rounded over with a the standard 1/8in radius.  It includes a 7/8in diameter output jack without flat.  String through holes drilled for vintage style 4 hole mount bridge, with standard string ferrule counter-bores, such as those available from StewMac.com.
Both 3 or 4 hole bridges can be used as these holes are drilled by the finisher.
HOWEVER, the E to E string spacing of this body is 2.125in.  DOUBLE check the bridge that you will be using to insure that it has a 2.125in string spacing.
Some 3 hole mount bridges may use a slightly different string spacing, and even some custom 4 hole mount bridges.  Most vintage bridges will use a 2.125in E to E string spacing.
For convenience, 1/8in dia neck pilot holes have been added with standard spacing. Double check your neck screws before drilling. Neck pocket is 2 3/16in width 5/8in deep and should fit all Telecaster compatible necks. Telecaster replacement necks manufactured by Mightymite and those available directly from Fender have been confirmed to fit snug in these bodies.  All bodies have been well sanded to 120 grit.
