    - Up for sale is a USED Warmoth Stratocaster Solid Electric Guitar Body, with a Hardtail Bridge, in clean and good condition overall. This 2-piece Swamp Ash body has been finished in a Custom Satin Transparent White Burst. The finish was done with White tinted Satin Polycrylic, and then a couple layers of clear Satin Polycrylic for the topcoat.
This finish is not perfect, it looks and feels very good, but it was finished (nonprofessionally) inside, and does have some minor pieces of dust, debris, and I think a small piece of hair or 2 --> it was an experimental finish that turned out great in my opinion. PLEASE READ ON IF THESE MATTERS ABOVE, DON'T MATTER TO YOU.
    This was an experimental body:
    - This body weighs approx: 4lbs.  The weight that came direct from Warmoth was 4lbs, 5 oz., however as you can see there is an extra section on the face of this body that has been routed out. This body was meant to have 3 pickups, a pickguard and then whatever controls you would like, and have them placed AWAY from the bridge and strings. A custom pickguard can cover the entire routed out section, much like a Telecaster Deluxe pickguard would cover the front routed section down to the lower bout of the guitar body's face. You can use the traditional "boat" style input jack if you want to, as the mounting holes are still there, however this body has been manipulated to have a side input jack, with a 7/8” jack hole, and ALREADY INCLUDED BLACK JACK PLATE (USED). This body also comes with 2 strap buttons and screws already attached.
    - This body has traditional Fender Licensed Stratocater Neck pocket specs: 5/8" deep, 2-3/16" wide, 3" long, Traditional Stratocaster Curved Heel. The neck pocket once had a neck on it that required slightly different bolt holes, so the original Warmoth/ Fender Licensed holes were filled in, and NOW the custom neck bolt holes have been filled in with oak, and the original Fender Licensed Stratocaster holes have been perfectly redrilled and are accurate to Fender Licensed necks/ neck mounting holes
    (SEE PICS #11).
A licensed fender neck was tested to fit with no issues. Every neck is slightly different width though, so some sanding, and extra finish may be required to fit snugly. Oil and Water Based Polyurethane can go right over Polycrylic, as long as you use proper adhesion techniques (scuff up the surface for better adhesion).
    - This body was meant to have an HSH configuration, however the swimming pool route has been widened and lengthened slightly, I believe it can fit a soapbar p-90, but I will double check for the buyer if requested.
    - This body comes with: a bridge grounding wire, a brass ferrule block, the metal black jack plate with screws, a modified Brass Bridge, with Brass saddles, and a hex wrench key for the saddle height set screws, all of which have been used and do have some slight user wear on them, but nothing cosmetically in poor condition.
    - The Bridge is made entirely out of Brass with a 2-1/16" string spacing, and the bridge has brass saddles. This guitar has had 2 other bridges on it, originally it had a 12-string bridge on it, so all of the screw holes, and original ferrule holes were filled in using oak dowels
    (SEE PIC #9).
The ferrule block in the back is made entirely out of brass as well. The Bridge itself has an experimental extra modified to it - 6 brass tubes were fit in the bridge's string through holes, and then epoxied into place. The 3 Bass side tubes (Low E, A, and D strings) are slightly larger in diameter than the Treble side tubes (G, B, and High E. They extend all the way through the body to just about where the Brass ferrule block holes are, for easier restringing, and they act (to me) similar to a strat's tremolo block.
    (SEE PICS #8, #9).
I don't believe these tubes hinder the sound, sustain, or resonance, and I really don't know if they enhance the sound, sustain, or resonance either but if you do not like the Brass tubes you can detach them, punch them out of place yourself. Or buy a similar fitting bridge. I believe this bridge lines up with a Gotoh hardtail bridge, but I am not positive, you will have to measure. The bridges hex key wrench has a little trouble sometimes fitting into the saddle height set screws, but just be patient, find the slot, it works.
    - Lastly, there is a crack that happened on the body, it extends from the back of the body - behind the neck pocket on the treble side bout, around to the front of the body - down the treble side of the neck pocket, down to about 1/3rd of the way down the swimming pool pickup route. I do not know how this crack happened. I do not know how deep it is. It looked very skinny when I bought it, it never gave me any challenges tone wise or functional wise, it never got wider the whole time I owned it, and I did my best to cover it up with the finish. However I am honest and want my buyer to know it is there (SEE PICS #10, #11, and #12).
    - Since this body has a Hardtail bridge, and a modified control cavity, a standard stratocaster pick guard will not work, obviously, but the original stratocaster pickguard holes are all there and have not been altered. The hardtail bridge takes up a different shape and a different length and width than a standard strat tremolo bridge takes up, so any pick guard you put on this will have to have the bridge cutaway section on the pick guard slightly altered to accommodate for the shape and size of the bridge thats currently on there. I did not have time to make a custom pick guard template for this guitar so you are on your own. I simply used a standard strat pick guard, modified the bridge cut away section to fit this bridge, and I used a seperate piece of sheet metal and cut that to fit under the standard strat pick guard, drilled out my potentiometer holes and screwed it into place using the original input jack screw holes. It looked cool, and I had my controls just how I liked them. But I am using the pick guard on another body, so for this body, it is up to the buyer to decide what they wanna do to accommodate the extra routed section.
    - As I said before this was an experimental body, in many ways. But it is Swamp Ash, very resonant, decently light, and has its own perks that give it is own unique character. The finish on it feels fantastic, and the pics really didn't capture the finish perfect, it looks ghostly white in my opinion. I simply can no longer pursue this build at this present time.
